Facilities
VaxDesign currently occupies 14,500 square feet of computer, office, and laboratory space inside Central Florida’s Research Park. It has the following laboratory infrastructure and biological/immunological equipment: Beckman Coulter automation equipment, Becton Dickinson LSR II flow cytometer, ELISpot, and ELISA readers, incubators, Luminex Xmap technology, chemiluminescent microscopy, Miltenyi AutoMACs and the AutoMACs Pro, fume hoods, biological hoods, fluorescent microscopy, confocal microscopy, Environmental SEM, blood processing equipment (Ficoll gradient separation, platelet wash, cell isolation), centrifuges, etc. to assess in vitro immunological responses. VaxDesign also has a fully functional machineshop for prototyping and small-lot manufacturing.
