Darrell Irvine, Ph.D.

Eugene Bell Associate Professor of Tissue Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Dr. Irvine studies tissue engineering and tissue-engineered model systems. He received his B.S. degree at the University of Pittsburgh and his Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His post-doctoral studies were conducted at Stanford Medical School. Dr. Irvine has authored more than 26 peer-reviewed publications. He currently serves as an editor for the journal Materials Science and Engineering R: Reports.
