Introducing the MIMIC™ System

VaxDesign's MIMIC™ (Modular IMmune In vitro Constructs) system is an automated, high-throughput, rapid and predictive way of testing the immunogenicity of vaccine and drug compounds and components. It is an in vitro surrogate human immune system to be used for testing and therapy development. With it, companies and institutions can more rapidly and more accurately test their vaccines and drugs. Using MIMIC™ technology, they will have a surrogate human immune system to test against, rather than use human proxies such as commonly done today with mice.

VaxDesign believes MIMIC™ technology will generate valuable predictions of human outcomes for immunopharmaceuticals and vaccines, accelerating the therapy discovery and development process and increasing the probability of success in human clinical trials. MIMIC™ has the potential to improve substantially the efficiency of vaccine and immuno-pharmaceutical research and development.
