Brief Job Description:

A full time position is available for a hands-on immunologist possessing a strong background with immunoassays to evaluate human immune cell function in vitro. The candidate will participate in research projects aimed at developing culture systems to improve the pre-clinical evaluation of vaccines and other immunotherapeutics.

Job Responsibilities:

Establish and optimize in vitro assays for the long-term culture of human dendritic cells, T cell and B cells in a manner that permits the generation of cellular and humoral responses against naïve antigens. This will include utilizing and developing state-of-the-art techniques to evaluate lymphocyte survival, proliferation, activation, maturation and cytokine and antibody production in culture assays.

Conduct studies that will lead to patentable concepts and publications.
